Queen Latifah sings “I’ll Be Seeing You” during this 2009 Oscars “In Memoriam” tribute video, honoring those in the industry whose deaths occurred over the past year.

Queen Latifah is a busy woman. She’s been denying rumors she’s marrying her long-time fitness instructor, been nominated for a Grammy award for her latest album, Trav’lin Light, and is also working on a rap record. Says Latifah:

I’m of the generation of hip-hoppers that you’ve got to have the balls to do something different. You’ve got to have the courage to challenge the status quo.

What’s more, she has a new seasonal movie out, The Perfect Holiday, which she produced and narrated. The movie has been billed as “the first African-American ensemble Christmas comedy.”
