Since the news broke that Patrick Swayze was suffering from pancreatic cancer, the actor hasn’t been spotted out and about much. Over the weekend, Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa were among the crowd at Friday’s Los Angeles Lakers game.
While there have been no updates on Patrick Swayze’s illness, he and his wife did release a statement last month saying, “We’re thrilled and grateful for the positive response Patrick has shown towards his treatment.”
Let’s hope that Patrick Swayze’s public appearance at a Lakers game is a good sign that his health is on the upswing.
People.com is reporting that Patrick Swayze is responding well to treatment for pancreatic cancer.

Hopefully, this is just one of those rumors that turns out to be false — reports are swirling that “Dirty Dancing,” “Ghost” and “Road House” star Patrick Swayze is dying from cancer and only has five weeks to live!
