Check out the trailer video for “Brothers,” starring Natalie Portman, Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal. Brothers opens in theaters December 4, and tells the story of a decorated Marine (Maguire) who goes missing and is presumed dead while his younger brother (Gyllenhaal) takes care of the wife and kids.

Maguire’s character, Sam, was captured but returns home and becomes suspicious that his wife and brother may have slept together. Definitely not a feel-good holiday movie.

In case you missed it, here’s a video clip of Ben Stiller impersonating Joaquin Phoenix at the 2009 Oscars. Natalie Portman and Ben Stiller were presenters at the Academy Awards, with Stiller bringing a bit of comic relief and nailing his Joaquin Phoenix impersonation.

Looks like a powerful cast of women in “My Blueberry Nights” — Rachel Weisz, Natalie Portman and Norah Jones — check out the newly released “My Blueberry Nights” movie poster.

Wait? Norah Jones — the singer? That’s right, “My Blueberry Nights” is Norah Jones’ film debut. Power actors Jude Law and David Strathairn (one of my personal faves) also star.

“My Blueberry Nights” will run in limited release beginning April 4.

When doesn’t Natalie Portman look fantastic? On the April 2008 cover of Elle magazine, Natalie Portman shows a little attitude in a pair of jeans. Nice to see a little more casual cover for a fashion mag.

Inside the April 2008 Elle issue, Natalie Portman talks about (among other things) growing up on Long Island, saying:

“[I was] different from the other kids: I was more ambitious. I knew what I liked and what I wanted, and I worked really hard to get it.”
