Let’s start with the source of the Morgan Freeman/E’Dena Hines rumor – The National Enquirer is reporting that Freeman, 72, and his 27-year-old granddaughter have been having an affair for some time.

Morgan Freeman took his granddaughter to the premiere of The Dark Knight in July 2008, where the pair reportedly “seemed unusually close.” Morgan Freeman and his wife, Myrna Colley-Lee, filed for divorce in August 2008.

According to The National Enquirer story, E’Dena Hines has confirmed the affair in private. The affair has also allegedly been going on since E’Dena Hines (actually, Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter) was a teen.

Neither Morgan Freeman nor his granddaughter E’Dena Hines have commented on this incestuous rumor.

Morgan Freeman released this statement to People:

“I left the hospital today just after 12 noon, Memphis time. I’m doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at ‘Elvis Presley [Hospital]‘ and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It’s great to know people care about you.”

Morgan Freeman will have to wear a neck brace for the next six to eight months, however.

“He has a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage but he is in good spirits. He is going to have surgery this afternoon or tomorrow to correct the damage. He says he’ll be okay and is looking forward to a full recovery.”

This is a great imrovement over the previous “serious” condition Morgan Freeman was listed in after the car crash occurred. He was removed from the wreck with the jaws of life and airlifted to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis.

Morgan Freeman was driving in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi when he was involved in a car accident at 11:30 p.m. Sunday. He was airlifted from the scene to Regional Medical Center in Memphis and is in serious condition.

There was also a passenger in the car with Freeman.

While specific details about Morgan Freeman’s crash are yet unknown, it’s being reported that he flipped the car several times and may have fallen asleep at the wheel.

Wanted is ranked at Metacritic.com with a score of 64 out of 100, based on 36 reviews. Critics’ reviews run the gamut, from a perfect 100 down to a score of 20.

31 Metacritic visitors have given Wanted an average of 8.6 out of 10.

Overall, the Wanted reviews urge moviegoers to put their logical thinking aside and just enjoy the ride. Wanted sounds like pure summer entertainment.

The Bucket List is one of the more touching films that I’ve seen in years. It’s not the thrill ride that the trailers seem to make it out to be, but it’s an interesting, introspective, touching film that left most theater goers (when I went) with moist eyes. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman show why they’re such master actors, and the film provides a crucial twist towards the end that probably is the catalyst for all the wet eyes.

Carter Chambers (Freeman) makes a list of all the things he’d like to do before kicking the bucket. Edward Cole (Nicholson) joins him. Together, they escape from the hospital and go on a road trip which includes skydiving, racing, motorcycling, safari, and visiting several countries.
