National Enquirer is reporting that a source told the mag, “Camila was fine about not being married when they had their first child, son Levi, a year ago, but she wants a ring on her finger before their next baby arrives.”

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have been together for more than two years.

Matthew McConaughey writes in his blog:

“Happy Father’s Day. It’s my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila [Alves] have been the most rewarding adventure to date. We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father’s Day that [will] make this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother… Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows and we thank you for all the well wishes you send our way…. just keep livin, Matthew and Camila.”

I’m not sure we need to know that information, honestly, but Kay McConaughey relays how it all went down, saying:

“On Monday mornings, he and I often said goodbye by making love. But one day, all of a sudden, it just happened. I knew that something was wrong, because I didn’t hear anything from him. Just nothing. But it was just the best way to go!”

Kay McConaughey also says that Matthew’s dad was removed from the house naked, saying, “I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift.”

Matthew: “Contractions started kicking in, and we found a great rhythm. We had a 14-hour session, her and I did. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it. We danced to it. I was DJing this native Brazilian music.”
Camila: “For 14 hours.”
Matthew: “We were jamming! She was sweating. No painkiller, let’s go. She just clicked into that gear that only a woman has at a time like this. We’d been up for 40-something hours, and we went from dead tired to a really steadfast, ‘Let’s handle this… let’s stay in the rhythm. Don’t let the contraction be more than you.’

Eventually, a C-section was ordered, to which Matthew McConaughey commented, “He came out with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, so it was the right thing to do. Of course, if we’d known this was how it was going to go, we could have gotten it done in the first three hours. We laughed, but that was Mother Nature and the baby saying, “Thank goodness for Western medicine.”

Matthew McConaughey has been dating model/handbag designer Camila Alves for two years.

Matthew McConaughey is set to star opposite Kate Hudson in the new Foul Play – the two have previously worked together in Fool’s Gold and How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. Kate Hudson has confirmed that negotiations have started for the Foul Play remake, but “we don’t even have a writer yet”.

It’s true — a big screen adaptation of the hit ’80s show “Magnum P.I.” is being made into a movie.

Well, Matthew McConaughey as the title role of Magnum P.I. isn’t a done deal yet. EW.com reports that Matthew McConaughey is currently reading the script.

The script is written by “Dodgeball” writer/director Rawson Thurber, so we can expect a funnier take on the Magnum P.I. TV series.
