Lindsay Lohan and her dad, Michael Lohan, continue to be at odds. Michael Lohan is talking to any media outlet that will listen, saying that he’s trying to help his troubled daughter get off of drugs.

Lindsay Lohan’s response to dear old dad’s help? She’s rumored to be planning filing a restraining order against Michael Lohan.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan’s mom and dad continue to have their public war of words about LiLo, mostly because mom feels daddy is a blabbermouth.

One insider says, “Lindsay is actively getting a restraining order, her lawyer have already been contacted. She’s scared. This is really serious.”

Robert Rodriguez has announced the cast for his upcoming film, “Machete” – check out the crazy lineup: Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Jeff Fahey, Don Johnson and Steven Seagal, as well as star Danny Trejo.

Also, watch the NSFW video for “Machete,” which is based on a fake trailer from Rodriguez’s 2007 “Grindhouse.”

Lindsay Lohan Turned Down Role in The Hangover

In “duh” career move news, Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned down the role as stripper Jade in the summer blockbuster “The Hangover,” according to Us Weekly. Way to screw up your comeback, Lindsay.

Lohan apparently thought The Hangover screenplay “had no potential,” but we’re guessing it’s just because the character was a small role and wouldn’t give LiLo enough precious screen time.

Director Todd Phillips offered Lindsay Lohan the role of Jade, but then hired Heather Graham when Lohan turned it down.

Lindsay Lohan to Star in Fantasy Comedy “The Other Side”

Lindsay Lohan got a job! Variety reports that Lindsay Lohan will star in an indie fantasy comedy called “The Other Side,” co-starring Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette.

“The Other Side” director David Michaels says of the Lindsay Lohan casting, “Lindsay’s very aware of people’s perceptions of her. She’s really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that.”

Lindsay Lohan in a Vegas Show? That’s what the rumor mill is buzzing about today – Lindsay Lohan is rumored to do the show “Peepshow,” an adult striptease act.

Why is Lindsay Lohan rumored to do the Vegas show? Lohan was spotted backstage Saturday at “Peepshow” at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, meeting with former Spice Girl Melanie Brown (the show also stars Kelly Monaco).

Lindsay Lohan is rumored to take over Kelly Monaco’s role in Peepshow once her three-month contract is up, but apparently, Holly Madison and Brooke Burke are also interested in the part.

Is there any truth to the Lindsay Lohan in a Vegas show rumor? Lohan reportedly said, “If they make me an offer, and the money’s right, I’ll do it.”

Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson Break Up; Ronson Seeks Restraining Order

You just know that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson’s break up didn’t go well when it ends with Ronson’s family seeking a restraining order against Lindsay. Sheesh… what did LiLo do to deserve that?

Lindsay Lohan had confirmed the split yesterday, saying, “We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself.”

But seemed there was more to the break up story – Friday, Lindsay was barred entry to a Ronson family party – and yesterday, the family looked to file a restraining order and Samantha had the locks on her house changed.

You my recall a few weeks ago when a window was broken at Samantha Ronson’s house after she and Lindsay Lohan got in a fight.

Looks like Lindsay Lohan’s star has fallen… a lot. Her latest film, “Labor Pains,” is heading directly to… wait for it… cable TV. ABC Family, to be exact.

Not even a direct to DVD release!

Access Hollywood is reporting that Lindsay Lohan’s new comedy, “Labor Pains,” will premiere on ABC Family in July 2009 and be released on DVD iin August.

In Labor Pains, Lindsay plays a woman who fakes pregnancy to save herself from being fired.

One thing’s for sure – Lindsay Lohan needs help with her sagging career. Yikes.

Lindsay Lohan Arrest Warrant Removed by Judge

Well that was much ado about nothing – the warrant issued for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest was dismissed by a judge.

The arrest warrant was removed by a Beverly Hills judge this morning after Lindsay Lohan’s attorney provided proof that Lohan has been compliant with her probation terms, including attending alcohol education classes.

There you have it – as Lindsay Lohan’s attorney said previously, it was all just a misunderstanding. Nothing to see here, folks.
