Amy Poehler has a new role to tackle – she’s been tapped ot star in “Lunch Lady,” based on the children’s novel series.

Lunch Lady is a series of books about a “mild-mannered school cafeteria server who secretly dishes out helpings of justice as she and her assistant investigate wrongdoings.” There are three kids in the books who try to crack open the lunch lady’s double life. Read the rest of this entry »

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, based on the children’s story, opens in theaters on September 18th.

In case the big screen Alvin and the Chipmunks didn’t make you nuts enough – here comes a sequel! Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (groan) will star Zachary Levi (TV’s Chuck) as a cousin of Jason Lee’s character. Even Jason Lee didn’t want to touch this one.

The plot of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel (ughh) includes the rodent boys facing off against the Chipettes.

The Jonas Brothers… and a farting dog? The Jonas Brothers will make their movie debut in “Walter the Farting Dog,” a remake of the bestselling children’s book series by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray.
