Keira Knightley did the PSA for the charity Women’s Aid, saying, “Domestic violence affects one in four women at some point in their lifetime and kills two women every week.” Atonement director Joe Wright directed the PSA video.

It was only a matter of time before “My Fair Lady” ventured into remake land – but it sounds like it’s happening and Keira Knightley is rumored to take on the famed Audrey Hepburn role of Eliza Doolittle.

Let’s clarify. Keira Knightley is the British actress who appeared in Silk, Atonement and Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End in 2007. She’ll be appearing in both The Duchess and The Edge of Love in 2008. She does not want to ever live in Hollywood because the city has a one-track mind. Right, because you just wouldn’t fit in there? Say, aren’t you the actress who said she’ll pretty much get naked for any magazine photographer that asks?
Atonement, a ‘love and war’ drama starring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy, scored seven Golden Globe nominations late last week, but has stiff competition for best dramatic picture. Nomination categories include best actor (male and female), best supporting actress, and best director. The movie was directed by Joe Wright. Knightley did not win a nomination for the “actress most likely to take her top off for a photo shoot if you ask her” category.
