Johnny Depp is People magazine’s 2009 Sexiest Man Alive! That’s about right.

People magazine must have heard my cries of foul the other day when a fake-y cover shot of Robert Pattinson as 2009’s Sexiest Man Alive hit the net. There’s just no way. Johnny Depp is hands down the sexiest man on the planet.

Johnny Depp was crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2003 – and if it was my choice, he’d hold the title every year. Nice to see him take the title again.

Ooh! Ooh! Check out the Alice in Wonderland movie poster picture, featuring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

The Alice in Wonderland poster was revealed on Facebook today: “Although you’ve made me late for a VERY important date, I’m still appreciative for those of you who truly are the most wonderful subjects.”

Alice in Wonderland opens in theaters on March 5, 2010.

Johnny Depp to Play Ozzy Osbourne in Biopic? Ozzy Hopes So

Aging rocker Ozzy Osbourne has put out the signal for Johnny Depp to play Ozzy in a biopic about his life.

Ozzy Osbourne currently has a new autobiography, “I Am Ozzy,” out and thinks that Johnny Depp would be great for the role.

Ozzy Osbourne said, “What’s left to wish for? A No1 album would be good. And to have a movie made of the book, maybe with Johnny Depp playing me – I’d like that.”

Seeing as Johnny Depp can play any character, I guess it’s not that much of a stretch!

Here’s the first look at Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s upcoming take on “Alice in Wonderland.” This picture of Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter gives just a glimpse of what’s to come when Alice in Wonderland hits theaters on March 5, 2010.

Producer Richard Zanuck describes the Alice in Wonderland update as all Tim Burton, saying, “It has been Burton-ized.”

Alice in Wonderland will feature both live action, CG animation and motion-capture creatures. And then… it will also be transferred to 3-D. What an experience!

Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, 19, will play Alice, with Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Alan Rickman as Caterpillar (Alan Rickman).

Crispin Glover Joins Cast of Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”

Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland” just got a little kookier. Crispin Glover has joined the cast of “Alice in Wonderland,” signing on to play the Knave of Hearts.

“Alice in Wonderland” will star Mia Wasikowska as Alice, as well as Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter. Tim Burton’s vision of the Lewis Carroll classic will include a combination of live action and performance-capture technology.
