Jennifer Aniston to sing in upcoming movie? ‘Tis true, say the folks at E! Online – Jennifer Aniston will sing in the new movie “The Goree Girls,” a real-life drama about 1940s female prisoners who formed a country/western band to get out of jail.

Jennifer Aniston will show off her singing in The Goree Girls, with director Michael Sucsy confirming, “She can sing. And she’s going to learn how to play the Dobro [guitar].”

The rest of The Goree Girls’ roles have not yet been cast.

I’m not even sure if this is newsworthy anymore – but Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have broken up… again. Apparently these two should have taken the hint the first time and figured out that they aren’t a good match.

A source tells People.com “They had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other. Jen is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy.”

A source told E!: “He broke up with her when she got back from her European tour.”

Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston to Star in Comedy “The Baster”

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman are set to star in the comedy “The Baster.” The directors behind Will Ferrell’s “Blades of Glory” will helm “The Baster,” a fertily-themed comedy.

Jason Bateman will play a “neurotic and insecure man who finds out his best friend (Aniston) wants to have a child through artificial insemination.” Bateman’s character does a donor switcheroo, making him the child’s real father.

Marley & Me Wins Holiday Box Office

Watch out, Brad Pitt – ex-wife Jennifer Aniston ruled the box office Christmas Day for Marley & Me, besting Brad’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

To give Button/Brad some credit, the film opened on 2,988 screens, earning $11.8 million, while Marley opened on more screens (3,480) and snagged $14.6 million.

Bedtime Stories took in $10.5 million, while Valkyrie earned $8.5 million.

The latest buzz is that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer broke up. Is there any truth to the reports that the two have called it quits? I’m sure many have hoped that Jennifer Aniston would find love at last, but this latest break up news isn’t looking so hot for the former Friends’ star.

So, did Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer break up? The pair haven’t been seen together for three weeks and John Mayer took a Mexican vacation without Jennifer Aniston. Does that mean the two have split though?

Not really. But The Mirror is reporting: “The pair initially decided to spend some time apart… before making the break official earlier this week.”

Hmmm… guess we’ll just have to wait and see on this one.
