It’s the countdown to the 2008 MTV Movie Awards (Sunday, June 1st) — and isn’t one of the best parts of the show always the short films? There’s always so much funny packed into the short bits that weave throughout the awards show and MTV has enlisted Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black to create their own short films. Mike Myers will host the MTV Movie Awards and has created two short films of two new characters.

Ben Stiller’s short film is said to be a “very funny tribute to viral films.”

Angelina Jolie herself has confirmed that she and Brad Pitt are having twins. Man, that family grows bigger by the second.

While Jack Black could hardly match Jerry Seinfeld in a bee suit at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, he made a pretty big impression. Promoting Kung Fu Panda, Jack Black arrived by boat at the Carlton hotel pier and walked through a line of 40 giant pandas before showing off his karate skills.
