Helen Mirren is a classy lady, but even the poised British actress has her share of skeletons. She tells all in an interview she did for the British GQ magaine, including being the victim of date rapes and trying a variety of drugs.

Helen Mirren

The striking and talented Helen Mirren has had a long career in movies dating back to 1967’s Herostratus and has done a fair bit of Shakespearean roles including Ophelia in 1976’s Hamlet. More recently, she’s played Queen Elizabeth I in Elizabeth I, and the Queen in the Academy Award-winning The Queen. She’s also in the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced National Treaure 2: Book of Secrets with Nicolas Cage. And at very youthful 62, she wants to become known as an action hero, and as such, she performed her own stunts in Book of Secrets.
