As if The Dark Knight needs any more buzz to get people in the theater seats, a new Dark Knight movie poster has surfaced. The Dark Knight opens in theaters July 18.
Heath Ledger’s hometown of Perth, Australia has named a theater after the late actor. The $87 million, 575-seat Heath Ledger Theater in Perth was dedicated at a naming ceremony.
Western Australia state Premier Alan Carpenter said, “Heath Ledger was totally dedicated to the craft of being an actor and that’s what made him successful. I think what we’re doing is continuing that support for young people who want to make a career in the arts and acting, stage and in film, whatever it happens to be.”
Stick around for the end credits of the latest Batman film “The Dark Knight” – the film will include a special posthumous tribute to Heath Ledger at the end.
