Marilyn Chambers was famous for her picture on the Ivory Snow box – a wholesom mom holding her baby.

In stark contrast to the Ivory Snow box, Chambers starred in the 1972 film “Behind the Green Door,” beginning her career as a porn star.

Marilyn Chambers also appeared in the David Cronenberg horror film flick “Rabid” and had a 1976 disco hit single called “Benihana.”

Autopsy results for Natasha Richardson have already been released by the New York City medical examiner’s office – the cause of death was “epidural hematoma due to blunt impact to the head,” which happened during a skiing accident.

So sad to report that actor Ron Silver is dead at age 62, after a two-year battle with esophageal cancer. “Ron Silver died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him this morning,” said Robin Bronk, executive director of the Creative Coalition (which Silver helped create).

Ron Silver was known for his roles on stage, on TV and in movies, as well as for his role as a political activist. Ron Silver’s roles have included the films Reversal of Fortune, Timecop, and Blue Steel, the TV show Veronica’s Closet and a number of episodes of Chicago Hope and The West Wing.

Patrick McGoohan, best known for his Emmy-winning turn in the TV show “The Prisoner,” has died at age 80.

Well, this is shocking news – Michael Crichton, best-selling author, died yesterday in Los Angeles after a fight with cancer. Michael Crichton is dead at age 66.
