Patrick Swayze was 57-years-old.

According to his rep: “Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months.”

Rest in peace.

John Hughes directed 80s favorites that were the mainstay of my existence, including “Sixteen Candles,” “The Breakfast Club,” “Pretty in Pink,” “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”.

Harve Presnell starred in Broadway musicals like The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Annie, but was also known for his roles in 1996’s Fargo (see video clip above) and the TV series Dawson’s Creek.

Harve Presnell passed away on Thursday.

Karl Malden is an award winning actor, starring as Lt. Mike Stone on TV’s The Streets of San Francisco as well as in film classics like A Streetcar Named Desire, On the Waterfront, One-Eyed Jacks and Patton.

Karl Malden won a Best Supporting Oscar for his role as Mitch in A Street Car Named Desire. Malden also starred in the role on Broadway.

Malden was also famous for being the spokesman on American Express commercials during the 1980s.

He died of natural causes in his Brentwood, California home.

The Thai tabloid, Thai Rath, published supposed David Carradine death photos taken at the crime scene, showing Carradine’s bound dead body hanging from a bar in the hotel closet.

David Carradine’s half brother says of the disturbing Carradine body picture, “The family wants it understood that, per attorney Mark Geragos, any persons, publications or media outlets will be fully prosecuted for invasion of privacy and causing severe emotional distress if the photos are published.”

“My Uncle David was a brilliantly talented, fiercely intelligent and generous man. He was the nexus of our family in so many ways, and drew us together over the years and kept us connected. I adored him as a child, and as an adult I admired and respected him.

We will all miss him terribly, and are so grateful for everyone’s condolences. The passing of someone so loved is extremely difficult under any circumstances, and I hope that all those in the media who admired David will respect his legacy and allow his family and loved ones to grieve peacefully.”

Initial reports do not yet have the cause of David Carradine’s death. David Carradine was 73.

David Carradine was in Thailand filming the movie “Stretch.”

While the suicide of Lucy Gordon has not yet been confirmed, an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.

Lucy Gordon was just 28 – and just days from her 29th birthday. She played reporter Jennifer Dugan in “Spider-Man 3.”

Gordon has worked as a model and was in a dozen movies, including The Four Feathers, which also starred Heath Ledger.

Stanley Tucci’s wife passing away is very sad news, indeed. The actor commented that “My wife was an extraordinary person who showed us all what great strength is.”

Stanley Tucci and his wife have three children.

Tucci will next be seen in Julie and Julia, playing husband to Julia Child (Meryl Streep).

Dom DeLuise is famous for roles in comedy classics like “Smokey and the Bandit II,” “The Cannonball Run, “Blazing Saddles” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” DeLuise is also well known for his starring role in “Fatso.”

Dom DeLuise also wrote cookbooks and children’s books.

Longtime pal and co-star Burt Reynolds commented on the sad news of Dom DeLuise’s death, saying, “As you get older you think about this more and more, I was dreading this moment. Dom always made everyone feel better when he was around. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. I will miss him very much.”
