Sadly, director John Hughes died of a heart attack today at age 59. He suffered the heart attack during a morning walk in NYC to visit family, TMZ.com reports.
John Hughes directed 80s favorites that were the mainstay of my existence, including “Sixteen Candles,” “The Breakfast Club,” “Pretty in Pink,” “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”.
Sadly, another celebrity death to report. This time, actor Harve Presnell has died, and while you may not know the name, you’ve most likely seen his work. Harve Presnell died from pancreatic cancer at age 75.
Harve Presnell starred in Broadway musicals like The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Annie, but was also known for his roles in 1996’s Fargo (see video clip above) and the TV series Dawson’s Creek. Read the rest of this entry »
