Cate Blanchett suffers head injury
Ouch! Actress Cate Blanchett suffered a head injury during a live performance of “A Streetcar Named Desire” yesterday – Blanchett was hit on the head by a prop.

The scene featured Cate Blanchett as Blanche DuBois, and Joel Edgerton as Stanley Kowalski – he threw a radio (as the script instructs), but it accidentally hit Cate on the head. Read the rest of this entry »

Well, I’d say Cate Blanchett is an improvement over Sienna Miller – Blanchett will play opposite Russell Crowe in “Nottingham,” replacing Sienna Miller in the role of Maid Marian.

Cate Blanchett attended the Australian Thinkers Summit over the weekend with a special little guest — newborn baby Ignatius. Cate Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton’s newest son is just one week old.

The Australian Thinkers Summit works to “shake some new ideas loose from the tree,” resulting in 10 key policy proposals to be handed to the government.

Cate Blanchett (and husband, director Andrew Upton) welcomed a baby boy on Sunday. This is the third child (and son!) for the couple.

Cate Blanchett named the new baby Ignatius Martin Upton. Big brothers are named Dashiell John, 6, and Roman Robert, almost 4.

So cool to finally see a movie poster for “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” How much is this movie going to rock?

We’ll find out soon enough — “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” hits theaters May 22. Harrison Ford is still rockin’ the Indy look, for sure.
