George Clooney is knocking down reports that he’ll serve as godfather to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s fifth child (or is it fifth and sixth? remember, twin rumors are circulating!).
George Clooney denies the godfather reports, but he did plant the seed awhile back by jokingly mentioning that he had been asked by Brangelina. According to George Clooney’s rep, “He was just having a joke.”
Honestly, don’t you all know better? George Clooney is famous for his pranks and joking good nature.
As quickly as the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding rumors were out there, the marriage gossip was quickly denied. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were not married in New Orleans over the weekend.
A source close to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt said the wedding rumors were not true, telling People magazine, there was “no wedding.” Read the rest of this entry »
Proud papa Brad Pitt is understandably angry that a recent edition of Life & Style magazine claims that he and wife Angelina Jolie found a threatening note delivered to their home. Said note supposedly includes a picture of their daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and hints at how easily the perps got “this close already”.
Pitt says that it’s “… dangerous to put these ideas out into the world.” That’s even more true now that Jolie is pregnant again, possibly with triplets.
You’ve probably seen recent pictures of Stepford Wife Katie Holmes, husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri where they all have this weird identical bowl haircut. Now what if other celebrity couples started imitating each other? What if Brad Pitt, who supposedly threw a tantrum when Tom Cruise got a new Ducati motorcycle, started adopting Angelina Jolie’s hairstyles? You can see an example above, courtesy of Hair Mixer.

Whatever happens with the Oscars, there’ll be pre-Oscar parties, and one of them will have the strangest combination co-hosts: Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt. (Check out the MorphThing image morph above of all three celebs.) If you’ve been hiding under a rock for several years and don’t know, Aniston was married to Pitt before Jolie snagged him away. I’ll put down $25 on Jolie as the winner of the inevitable cat-fight.
Then again, other pals such as Tobey Maguire, Ben Stiller, George Clooney, Don Cheadle and others will be around and would probably stop a catfight.
The party is on Feb 23 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. No idea if it’s an open party.
While in New Orleans helping with rebuilding efforts there, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly took the kids to see The Water Horse and to eat at a KFC and a McDonald’s (at different times). I gotta say that really surprises me. I thought Jolie does promo work for animal rights groups (no?) and that fast food would be the last place they’d go. Maybe I’m wrong. Also, if Jolie is really rubbing caviar on her face, then fast food seems kinda cheap.
Jolie will be starring in Atlas Shrugged, based on the novel by Ayn Rand, as well as Kung Fu Panda, Wanted, and The Changeling. Pitt, whose birthday just passed, will be appearing in Burn After Reading, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Chad Schmidt, and Dirty Tricks in 2008, and The Fighter and Dallas Buyer’s Club in 2009.
