“The Incredible Hulk” had a great opening weekend – raking in $54.5 million at the box office and besting Kung Fu Panda (at number 2) and The Happening (number 3).

Paul Dergarabedian, president of box-office tracker Media By Numbers commented on the weekend opening, saying “The [Incredible] Hulk got a second chance, got angry and came back with a vengeance. Kung Fu Panda was unstoppable at the box office this weekend, taking the top spot with $60 million.
