Check out the extended video clip from Walt Disney Pictures’ Bolt, an animated film starring the voices of John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Susie Essman and Mark Walton. Bolt opens in theaters November 21, and based on this extended clip, looks like it’s going to be a good one.

Why oh why are they making a big screen version of the animated show The Smurfs? If you were a child of the 80’s, no doubt you grew up on The Smurfs (smurftastic!), but could a movie version of the little blue guys (and one gal) bring box office success?
Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation are going to try anyway – creating a live action and animated mix of The Smurfs. No word on a release date just yet.
The sequel to the animated hit “Madagascar,” scheduled for a November 7 release, will have a couple of new voice talents joining the cast: Bernie Mac and Alec Baldwin.
“Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” will include Ben Stiller as Alex the lion, Chris Rock as Marty the zebra, and David Schwimmer as Melman the giraffe.
Bernie Mac will voice Zuba, Alex’s dad and head of the pride, while Alec Baldwin will play Makunga, a challenger to Zuba.
Other voices joining the “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” cast are Sherri Shepherd (”The View”) as Alex’s mom and Will.i.am as Moto Moto.
Angelina Jolie herself has confirmed that she and Brad Pitt are having twins. Man, that family grows bigger by the second.
In a Today show interview from Cannes to promote the new animated film Kung Fu Panda, Angelina Jolie confirmed that she’ll indeed be having twins, as has been rumored for some time now. That makes babies number 5 and 6 for the Jolie/Pitt clan. Read the rest of this entry »
