3-D is the way to go, yo. Disney has announced that they’re planning a 3-D makeover for their 1991 feature Beauty and the Beast.

Jack Black will reprise his role as Po in the Kung Fu Panda sequel – Kung Fu Panda 2 will hit theaters in 2011.
DreamWorks Animation SKG announced plans for the Kung Fu Panda sequel, which will be produced witih 3-D technology. Jack Black will voice Po for Kung Fu Panda and Angelina Jolie is expected to return as the voice of Tigress.
Kung Fu Panda will be released on DVD on November 9.

Cool. Beloved children’s book “Cloudy with Chance of Meatballs” will become a Sony Pictures Animation movie. Vocal talents for “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” includes Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Bruce Campbell, Mr. T and Tracy Morgan.
