Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were spotted on the “Inglourious Basterds” Los Angeles premiere red carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, all dressed in black and looking amazing. As usual.

Angelina Jolie to Play Patricia Cornwell Character Dr. Kay Scarpetta

Angelina Jolie will take on the role of Dr. Kay Scarpetta, featured in 16 Patricia Cornwell novels. While details of the first film have not been revealed, given the extensive source material, this could mean a major movie franchise.

Fox 2000 studio has acquired screen rights to Patricia Cornwell’s book series featuring medical examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta, and Angelina Jolie has signed on to play the main role.

Megan Fox to Replace Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft Tomb Raider Sequel?

Rumors are rampant that hottie Megan Fox will take over for Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider sequel. While there’s no confirmation yet that Megan Fox will star in Lara Croft sequel, an insider says Fox is a “strong candidate” for the role.

We’ll have to see how this one plays out, but you can definitely see similarities between the two, pictured above.

Angelina Jolie looks a little alien in this January 2009 cover of Germany’s Comopolitan, but she’s still pretty close to perfect.

Inside the German Cosmo, Anglina Jolie dishes on her many dutes – mom, actress, UN ambassador, saying,

“Well, I do take my time outs. And most of all I do receive support from Brad [Pitt]. We are a good team. That is important to me and gives me strength… I cannot sit quietly while others die of hunger and children. My commitment for the United Nations I do not want to abandon. The play has no greater priority. In February, I still turn a movie, then I suppose one years off.”

“I’m very disciplined. I have a balanced diet and among other things I do Pilates. If I’m fit I feel more comfortable and I do have a lot more energy.”

People seem to be fascinated with the notion that Angelina Jolie could be pregnant again – well, she’s squashing the lastest baby bump rumors, with her rep commenting that pregnancy reports are “not true.”

Life & Style is the latest to report the Angelina Jolie pregnancy rumors, but the actress denies, denies, denies.

Not to worry – there will be more Brangelina kids on the horizon, as Brad Pitt told Oprah last week that having kids is “the greatest endeavor I’ve ever taken on… why stop now?”

Angelina Jolie Cries About Late Mom, Marcheline Bertrand, During Changeling Press Conference (Video)

The usually composed Angelina Jolie remembered her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, fondly during a press conference for Changeling (see video above). Jolie cried as she spoke about Marcheline Bertrand, dedicating her performance as Christine Collins in Changeling to her.

Marcheline Bertrand died in 2007 after a battle with breast cancer.

Jolie said of her mother, “Her name was Marcheline but we used to call her Marshmallow, as a joke, because she was just the softest, most gentle woman in the world. She was really sweet and was never angry – she couldn’t swear to save her life.”

“But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this is very much her story.”
