The “Land of the Lost” movie is really shaping up, with the latest casting news that Jorma Taccone will play Cha-ka.

If you hadn’t heard the buzz about “Land of the Lost” previously, Will Ferrell will play Marshall and Anna Friel (”Pushing Daisies”) will play Holly. Danny McBride, who co-starred in “Hot Rod” and will be seen in the upcoming “Drillbit Taylor” and “Pineapple Express” will play Will.

If you’re scratching your head about who Jorma Taccone is, who’s been cast as caveman guide Cha-ka, he’s a Saturday Night Live writer who has appeared in “Hot Rod” and works with Andy Samberg and writer Akiva Schaffer on the awesome SNL Digital Shorts.
