The buzz this morning? Actress Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing Rachelle Lefevre in Twilight Eclipse, taking over the role of the vampire Victoria.

Bryce Dallas Howard has starred in Terminator Salvation, Spider-Man 3 and Lady in the Water. Scheduling conflicts were given as the reason for Bryce Dallas Howard replacing Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria in the third Twilight movie.

Erik Feig, Summit’s president of worldwide production and acquisitions said of the casting switcheroo: “We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise. Rachelle brought ‘Victoria’ to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

Twilight Eclipse starts shooting this August and will land in theaters on June 30, 2010.
