Brokeback Mountain to Become an Opera
Plans are underway to develop the Oscar winning movie Brokeback Mountain into an opera.
The New York City Opera commissioned a composer to create the Brokeback Mountain opera based on the 1997 short story by Annie Proulx. The opera is set for a 2013 stage release.
