Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie picked up a little piece of real estate in the South of France recently — the pair spent $60 million for the Chateau Miraval, a sprawling French estate.

And when we say sprawling, we’re not kidding — Chateau Miraval has 35 bedrooms, a lake, pool and moat (yes, a moat!) to keep the Jolie-Pitt clan entertained. Chateau Miraval pictures after the jump.

And how about some famous new neighbors for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at Chateau Miraval? They’re in good company with U2’s Bono and the Edge and Johnny Depp all own cribs in in the South of France.
