Billy Crudup Joins Johnny Depp, Christian Bale in ‘Public Enemies’

OK, I’ve died and gone to heaven — Billy Crudup is joining the cast of “Public Enemies,” starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. Can you think of a more talented (and beautiful) lineup of guys?
Variety announced that Billy Crudup has signed on to play FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover in “Public Enemies.”
“Public Enemies,” the newest film from Michael Mann is due in theaters in 2009.
Oh, and did I mention that Johnny Depp stars as John Dillinger and Christian Bale has the role of the FBI agent, Melvin Purvis, who hunted Dillinger down?
