As quickly as the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding rumors were out there, the marriage gossip was quickly denied. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were not married in New Orleans over the weekend.

A source close to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt said the wedding rumors were not true, telling People magazine, there was “no wedding.”

Turns out Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie haven’t been in New Orleans in two weeks, so they definitely weren’t married there.

Star magazine’s web site, who initially ran the news of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting married, issued this retraction on their site:

“Sources in a position to have information regarding a secret wedding ceremony between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had confirmed to Star that the couple married in the French Quarter Wedding Chapel on Saturday, March 29. “There were two weddings, one planned and one unplanned,” one source told Star. “Brad and Angelina’s was the planned ceremony. The weather wasn’t good, so we were indoors.”

After further investigation, the sources are not standing by their story. Brad and Angelina’s reps have not commented.”
