Amy Poehler has a new role to tackle – she’s been tapped ot star in “Lunch Lady,” based on the children’s novel series.

Lunch Lady is a series of books about a “mild-mannered school cafeteria server who secretly dishes out helpings of justice as she and her assistant investigate wrongdoings.” There are three kids in the books who try to crack open the lunch lady’s double life.
