Actress, Dancer Cyd Charisse Dead at Age 86
Legendary actress and dancer Cyd Charisse died today from an apparent heart attack – she was 86.
Cyd Charisse starred in musicals during Hollywood’s Golden Age, in MGM Studios’ Singin’ In The Rain (1952), Brigadoon (1954), The Band Wagon (1953) and Silk Stockings (1957). Cyd Charisse’s performances were memorable, starring alongside dance giants Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire.
