Spider-Man 4 and 5 are rumored to be in the works, however, it’s being reported that Tobey Maguire will likely not return for additional installments of Spider-Man. Who will replace Tobey Maguire? Almost Famous star Patrick Fugit is the rumored golden boy that would play Peter Parker/Spider Man, although no offers have yet been made.

The making of The Hobbit may be on hold due to a lawsuit filed by Christopher Tolkien, the 83 -year-old son of J.R.R. Tolkien. The younger Tolkien is in a court battle trying to keep The Hobbit from being made.
